The ClearPath Cloud-based ClearPath Value-added Service Platform (VSP) delivers a full suite of apps including cloud managed network infrastructure, network management & monitoring, unified threat management security and customer lifecycle service automation in a fully integrated platform that can be deployed into an existing private or public cloud.
The platform integrates seamlessly with both cloud-based services and on-premises appliances and mobile devices to provide a comprehensive service bundle to any enterprise user, regardless of location or network device. VSP is a multi-tenant environment where all applications are centrally managed from a single web user interface for multiple customers with single or multiple locations.
VSP is comprised of 4 infrastructure component technologies that drive efficient value creation:
1. Service Automation - Utilizes a web-based workflow to automate service delivery over the entire customer lifecycle. Integrated applications include on demand ordering, order tracking, service configuration & activation, task & workflow management and help desk.
2. Unified Threat Management - A full suite of both CPE & Cloud based gateway security available for your customers, including anti-virus, intrusion detection & prevention, content filtering, firewall, site-to-site & remote access VPN.
3. Network Infrastructure - A broad range of network infrastructure services are enabled by including an appliance at the customer premises. These services are all manageable from the cloud, including load balancing, failover, 802.11 N wireless, 3G support, Quality of Service (QoS), NAT, PAT, DHCP, RAS and switching.
4. Remote Monitoring & Management - Real-time monitoring and proactive notification on the performance of both networks and devices, including historical reporting via a cloud-enabled portal and infrastructure.
