Secure Private Network (SPN) Helps Small and Medium Businesses Reduce Costs and Simplify User Experience

Bonn, 26 November  2012/PRNewswire/:  ClearPath Networks, Inc., a provider to telecommunications and cloud service providers of cloud-based virtual networking solutions, announced the launch on the Deutsche Telekom online Business Marketplace of Secure Private Network (SPN), a secure communications application specifically designed for small businesses.

Dramatically lowering costs and simplifying usage, SPN secures employees’ and other users’ access from their personal computers to their financial applications, customer account records, proprietary product documents and other internal files and applications when working at the office, traveling, working from home, or from any other Internet-enabled remote location.

SPN extends ClearPath Networks’ commitment for making sophisticated connectivity and security technologies available and appropriate for small businesses. SPN requires no additional equipment: any personal computer or server can be enabled with a simple lightweight client. SPN is easy to use: customers purchase, activate and configure their networking services with simple point-and-click commands in their secured cloud-managed portal. SPN fits small business budgets: there is no upfront cost, and low monthly payments flex up or down to accommodate the number of secured endpoints required.

When customers activate SPN, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) tunnels are automatically created between customers’ personal computers, physical servers and virtual cloud-based storage resources. Customers use the SPN Marketplace portal to authorize and revoke users on the fly. For more information on SPN and DT Business Marketplace, please visit
