Maintaining a web presence today requires establishing and maintaining a website and e-mail domain name which reflects your business purpose or company name. ClearPath’s e-mail hosting service addresses this requirement, and will deliver an enterprise-class service. As an optional upgrade, this service may be combined with iMail, ClearPath’s Anti-Spam and antivirus e-mail service, to optimize employee productivity and ensure harmful viruses are blocked from entering your private network. Both E-mail and iMail may be self managed through SNAP View, a unique web-based user interface which provides you complete control over your private network environment.
Service is available as IMAP or POP3:

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) is a standard protocol for accessing e-mail from our servers. ClearPath utilizes the latest version of IMAP, Version 4, which is a client/server protocol in which e-mail is received and held for you by our Internet server. You (or your e-mail client) can view just the heading and the sender of the letter, and then decide whether to download the mail. You can also create and manipulate multiple folders or mailboxes on the server, delete messages, or search for certain parts or an entire note. IMAP requires continual access to the server during the time that you are working with your mail.

POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) is a less sophisticated protocol than IMAP. With POP3, your mail is saved in a single mailbox on our server. When you read your mail, all of it is immediately downloaded to your computer and, except when previously arranged, no longer maintained on the server.
ClearPath Networks e-mail hosting service includes, at no additional charge, a web-mail interface enabling you to check e-mail messages from any public Internet web browser. In addition, up to 5 mail forwards may be established to forward incoming messages to other designated e-mail addresses.
